In A Still Growing Democratic Republic Of South Africa, We Have Borne Witness To Decades Worth Of Changes In Our Socio-Economic Landscape, As A Result Of There Being A Changing Of The Guard At Leadership Level, In An Attempt To Foster More Exclusivity, And Break The Chains Of Apartheid, With All Its Oppressive Measures, Ideals, Beliefs, Benefactors, And Backers Alike... 26 Years On, We Remain Finding Our Feet, Which Means A Lot To Somebody Like Me - Born In The Early 90's, In The Former Homeland Of Venda, I Came To Gauteng Not Too Long After The 1994 Election's, Where My Parents Had Relocated To The Neighborhood Of Hillbrow, As They Attempted To Find Their Way In The New South Africa - The Story Of Free South Africa, Coincides With The Story Of My Life, And The Lives Of Many Other Millennial's, In A Lot Of Uncanny Ways... Like Us, Free South Africa Was Born Into Marriages That Didn't Last Too Long, Due To A Lack Of Commitment & Fidelity To The Union, From The Get-Go.

I Always Said, That One-Day, When We Were Grown Enough, We Would Have To Talk About How That Incomplete Freedom Process, Has Led To The Shocking Levels Of Abuse, Crime, Corruption, Looting, Murder, Selective Prosecution, Systematic Racism & General Lawlessness That We Have Grown So Accustomed To Seeing Take Place, Continually, Right Before Our Eyes. Well, Like The Great Man Malcolm X Once Eluded, The Chickens Have To Come Home To Roost Eventually, And The People Are Growing Exceedingly Tired Of Going To Sleep Hungry, While Waking Up To Work For Peanuts. When Mr. Visage Whyled Out In That Studio, It Became Easier To Laugh At His Arrogance, Instead Of Critiquing Where It Emanates From... We, As Black South Africans, Have Grown To Accustomed To Letting Shit Slide, And Not Wanting To Upset The Apple-Cart, Or Jeopardize Our Standing In The Eyes Of White South Africa, While Our Basic Human Rights Are Being Violated, By The Very Same People That We Vote Into Power. The Time Has Come, For Us To Rise Up, And Use Our Voices To Speak Up On Issues From Our Own Perspectives, While Using Our Public Platforms To Hold Civic Leaders Accountable For The Decisions They Make In Private, As They Pertain To Us As A Collective Society, Today, And Tomorrow. Homegown In The LoudBooth, This Podcast Is Curated To Speak From The Perspective Of A Young Black South African, Who Is Grateful That His Leaders Have Decriminalized Cannabis In Our Kowntry, Yet Still Seeks Criminal Justice For The Lives That Were Unnecessarily Massacred Ko Marikana, Therapeutic Rehabilitative Measures The Trauma Caused During Fees Must Fall, And A Full Fiscal Forensic Report Of The R 500 Billion Covid-Relief Load, Plus An Updated Plan Of Action On How We Plan To Recoup The 2010 World Cup Expenditure, While Accounting For A Way To Create More Black African Millionaires Through The Legalization Of Cannabis & The Rise In Digital Media Communications... Basically, It's Time To Talk Accountability... You Can't Touch Me In My Studio, And Think You'll Get Away With It, Not In 2020 After van Riebeeck.
