Hello and welcome to the first episode of IAPSS Oceania’s podcast series, a podcast made by political science students for political science students. In this episode we are talking with Elliot Stein, the QLD Director of the Hawker Britton Political Consulting Firm. Elliot holds a Master’s Degree in Public Policy and Governance from the University of Queensland and a Bachelor of Arts from the Australian National University. Alongside this he has had a varied career, he has worked as the Chief of Staff for the Palaszczuk Government, as a Senior Adviser in the Rudd and Gillard Governments, and immediately prior to joining Hawker Britton Elliot worked in New York City for The Glover Park Group. We were delighted to talk with Elliot about everything from what to do with your political science degree to the US Presidential election.
