In this episode, Jennifer Walling, executive director of the Illinois Environmental Council, talks with host Bob Gilligan about the Clean Energy Jobs Act, or CEJA for short. CEJA establishes ambitious goals in setting Illinois and its residents on a path to increasing our use of renewable energy and decreasing our carbon footprint during the next 10 to 30 years. The Clean Energy Jobs Act is expected to be pushed in the Illinois Legislature during the spring 2021 session. Our Illinois bishops recently issued a statement on certain values that should be included in any clean energy legislation.
