To address discrimination and prejudice, there is a need to go beyond race-based hate speech to include also other forms of hate speech related to gender and sexuality, foreign nationals and those who hold different political views. This podcast outlines the definitions, types of hate speech, policy gaps and suggests solutions to address the racist structures of Singaporean society.
