It is the season premiere of Double G Radio’s basketball show The Box Out. Kahlil and Jason return every single week from now until the end of the basketball season to discuss everything basketball.
Both the New York Knicks and Brooklyn Nets are gearing up for the 2017-2018 NBA season. The guys will look at both squads and determine what their most significant challenges will be. Can the Nets compete in a weak Eastern Conference? Will the Knicks rebuild begin in earnest or fail miserably? Kahlil and Jason will preview the season for both tri-state area teams.

The Box Out returns with an emergency edition of the show after the monumental news from Saturday afternoon.
The Knicks finally traded Carmelo Anthony with the perennial All-Star being moved to Oklahoma City in exchange for Enes Kanter, Doug McDermott, and a draft pick. Kahlil and Jason will give their thoughts on the deal and what it means for both teams.
Joining the show will be Double G Sports basketball writer Ben McDonald with his thoughts on the trade and if the Knicks got back what they deserved or could have gotten more for Melo.
