We are excited to finally bring you our game retrospective on Gears Tactics, the Gears of War prequel which shifts the franchise gameplay to the turn-based genre. We cover everything from the gameplay itself, story and characters, plus visuals and audio in this deep dive into what might possibly be one of the best games in the genre. This is the first episode in a two episode special of our full retrospective on the game. Our addendum on Tactics arrives before the end of May where we'll be focusing on community feedback, and some other bonus bits we didn't cover here in the main analysis. Stay tuned for that!
