#20: The Case Has Gone Cold ...Allegedly | Kenneka Jenkins & Clarence Hammond III Allegedly

    • True Crime

In our first Black History Month spotlight episode, we are shining light on the mysterious deaths of Kenneka Jenkins and Clarence Hammond.

———————————————

Kenneka Jenkins was a bright 19 year old living in Chicago. She loved being silly with family and friends and had dreams of becoming a lawyer.

Unfortunately, in the early morning hours of September 9, 2017, Kenneka went missing after attending a party with friends at the Crowne Plaza Hotel.

Kenneka’s body was found the next evening in the hotel kitchen’s walk-in freezer. Video surveillance would show Kenneka’s final moments - but did it show foul play?

———————————————

Clarence Hammond lll was a 33 year old corrections officer that was loved and respected by all; or at least that’s what everyone thought...

On the night of January 13, 2012, Clarence was gunned-down as he was returning home from work.

The obvious suspect would be the vindictive ex-wife, but theories range from a burglary gone wrong to retaliation by an inmate.

So who killed Clarence Hammond? Are the police getting any closer to closing this case?

———————————————

Pull up a chair, grab a snicky snack, and learn from Mike and Heather about these two cases that deserve so much more attention than they’ve received, this week on Allegedly!
