Before writing and coaching, Rickilee co-founded an e-commerce herbal supplement company and worked as a wilderness guide and yoga instructor in the Canadian rocky and coastal mountains. She holds a university education in leadership and outdoor recreation management, and a diploma in phytotherapy (clinical medical herbalism).
