Whether it is about lizard people living in underground sewers, or a flying spaghetti God made of sweet sweet marinara - why do we conform to ideas and what drives these biases in our brains? Is there a reason why the media, the state, and big capitalism tries to appeal to our basic instincts? We talk about conformation biases and how gullible we can be.

Tossed salads and scrambled eggs - does that conjure the image of piping hot toast, and sausages, and veggies and all that good stuff. We talk on the philosophy of food, how it connects us, and how our culture is so influenced by our pots and pans and spice sensibilities.

What do Voltaire, trash cans, flies, and apple pie have in common? In this episode we try to delve a little into the meaning of ambition and purpose and how intrinsic they are to our identities, lives, and societal functioning; and how do we cultivate our gardens.

It's Deep Ramen's first episode and the pandemic makes it all a lonely time for all of us. Here we talk a little about relationships - be it your friends, your partner or your family.
