Clifford was born and raised in Port-au-Prince Haiti until the age of 14 When he moved to Miami where is attended high school.
His true passion growing up was always in the built environment especially in structural design, construction and generating plans.
After his graduate studies at the University of Massachusetts Amherst His first job was as a design engineer for a steel construction products manufacturer.
After two years at his first job He was able to gain admittance to the Columbia University School of Engineering and Applied Sciences, where after one year He graduated magna cum laude with a Master’s Degree in Civil Structural Engineering.
He was able to gain employment from a world renowned design firm in New York City who’s past work included the design of signature structures including the Sydney Opera House, Apple Park in Cupertino CA, Stonecutters Bridge in Hong Kong and the London Eye to name a few.
Five years with this company helped him discover a passion for sustainable structures that impacts communities for years after project completion.
This led me to his current position of Senior Bridge Engineer.
Some of his most notable work to date include the Tawatina Bridge in Edmonton Canada and Gerald Desmond Bridge in Long Beach California.
Although His favourite project was The Lipez Pedestrian Bridge river crossing in Santivanez Bolivia.
