FAQ Business Podcast

All your frequently asked questions (FAQ) about business and entrepreneurship will be tackled in our podcast. And if you read it as something else ... we'll help change your attitude to your small business ;-)

We will share great tips and tricks from our FAQ Business Founder Jane Tweedy, and call upon some amazing guests who will inspire or inform, or even better both! Our guests must share our mission to help empower business owners to avoid getting ripped off or ripping themselves off because of what they didn't know they didn't know.

Mind the gap!

Due to our host Jane's ill health (thanks so much long Covid), S2 ended early and S3 started late, but we are now back in mid 2023 with Season 3. We'll start back fortnightly and hopefully move back to weekly in the near future!

Who will you hear from?

We already have some amazing people lined up - a couple of inspirational local business success stories, a million-dollar revenue maker who got there on her own to start (but now has a subcontracted team of helpers), a digital media marketing guru who is an amazing leader and human, US based (we're going international!) solutions providers (hopefully with some deals ;-) ) and some everyday local business owners you can relate to, sharing their struggles and successes in navigating this crazy world of entrepreneurship and being your own boss!

You can find out more about FAQ Business Training at faqbusinesstraining.com.au

If you have any queries, would like to submit questions for us to answer in future episodes or want to be considered as a podcast guest or a sponsor please contact us via email podcast@faqbusiness.com.au

We are based in Penrith at the base of the Blue Mountains in Western Sydney, Australia. All our podcasts will be recorded online so our guests can come from all over :-)

S2 Ep31 Taking time to reflect with Jane Tweedy

S2 Ep31 Taking time to reflect with Jane Tweedy

Taking time to reflect is a great thing to do both for your business, and for yourself. Reflection pauses us from our constant busy do-ing, and makes us stop and think about how the do-ing made us think and feel, and whether there was something to celebrate or learn from the reflection.

There are many ways we can take time to reflect both by ourselves and with the input of others. In today’s session we go over why taking time to reflect is a good thing, and some specific techniques in relation to reflecting on reviews, 360 degree reviews, post implementation reviews and SWOT analysis.

S2 Ep30 Why join an industry association? with Jane Tweedy

S2 Ep30 Why join an industry association? with Jane Tweedy

Have you considered joining an industry association? Whether you’re a small business or big business, industry associations offer a lot of benefits. This episode of the FAQ Business Podcast, covers why you should join an industry association and the benefits you may not even have thought about before.

We have no affiliation with any of the organisations mentioned (other than being a certified member of one). We merely think industry associations provide amazing benefits (one example saved a client $1900 on insurance for instance!).

S2 Ep29 Status quo is rarely the safe option with Jane Tweedy

Do you often opt for the status quo because you think it is the safe option? Does an unknown future scare you, so you stay in your comfort zone? Today’s FAQ Business Podcast episode is about why the status quo is rarely the safe option.

In this episode, we give some examples of changes which if missed were business ending. These are used to make you realise that doing nothing can sometimes be the riskiest strategy of them all!
