Hi, I am Jason Hocum and I live in West Central Minnesota. I have Asperger syndrome, which is on the autism spectrum. It has certainly given me an unique look on life, and I figured I should share it. In this podcast, I wanna share stories about my life as well as my interests, like a journal.
Eight years ago today (November 4th), I was offered my current job at KMRSKKOK radio. Over time, I’ve learned important lessons in work ethic, time management, coexisting with coworkers, and dealing with customers/listeners. I talk about all this and more in this episode! Once again, thank you all for your support over the years, both on the radio and the podcast!
Recapping the 2021 MLB seasons, both the highs and the lows. Also I touch on how it is helped me deal with certain changes.
Stress and Pressure
Today’s episode deals with pressure and stress and how I react to it sometimes and in the past. Universal subject, with a viewpoint from the spectrum!

Hey, It’s Been A While!!

Autism Awareness Month 2021 Part 2
April is autism awareness month, and over the years at my station, I have been sharing stories of inspirational people on the autism spectrum along with the people who help them. I added a twist to this year by sharing the stories on our stations Facebook page via SoundCloud. Here are 19 stories that I read on the air every night I was on in April highlighting special individuals on the spectrum as well as special people off the spectrum!
