As we inch closer and closer to the season, Vegas is starting to set lines for game action throughout College Football. We had an idea that Texas would be favored in 11 of 12 games this season, with the lone exception being the Georgia Bulldogs, but had no idea just how much better Vegas thought Texas was compared to their opponents. We now have access to five of the twelve betting lines associated with the Texas Longhorns and their opponents this season and they are #interesting.

In about two to three weeks, the Texas Longhorns will be joining the SEC for their inaugural season, in the same season that the College Football Playoffs will expand from four to twelve teams. This unique storm, creates in my opinion, a playoffs or bust scenario as echoed by @Horns247 . Texas won more games than Oklahoma this season, has won more games the past two seasons, and ended the season 7-1 while Oklahoma ended the season 4-3. Yet, tell that to an Oklahoma fan and they'll tell you that you don't know football and Oklahoma was more successful than Texas from 2000-2021. Ask them what that means in 2024 and enjoy the awkward silence #HookEm
