The world can feel big for a kid, and the problems in it can seem overwhelming. But the students of Wadsworth Magnet School for High Achievers have the imagination and the knowledge to approach the world's ills with confidence. Our 6th graders researched the answer to the question, "How does the transatlantic slave trade still affect life in the Americas?" They learned that there are a lot of ways that the slave trade of the past touches life all over North America, South America, and the Caribbean. They share their ideas through this podcast that they recorded and edited themselves.
