59. Top 5 Martial Arts Movies
It's time to bust out the nunchucks as Michael and Dan return to rundown their five favourite martial arts films. Listen as Michael regresses to his teenage self and gushes about the wonders of Jet Li and Bruce Lee beating people into a bloody pulp, while Dan tries his best to keep the conversation on track.
It's all high kicks, high screeches and brutal violence, you're going to love every second of it.

58. Hall of Fame:- Donnie Darko: The Director's Cut
The hallowed halls of the High Hat Hall of Fame creak open again as another film is up for consideration. Erik Saras returns to the show to make a case for Richard Kelly's 2004 director's cut of his 2001 cult hit Donnie Darko. It is the film that launched Jake Gyllenhaal's career, and confused a million wannabe film students. But is it worthy of a place in the hall of fame?
Also on the show, we once again ask the eternal question; has Michael gotten round to re-watching 2001: a Space Odyssey?

57. The Bourne Addendum
Bourne is back but are we happy about it? In a follow up to our Bourne Again Box Set Marathon episode from last year, Michael and Joe reconvene to discuss if Jason Bourne is a worthy addition to the franchise.
Up for discussion;
Is Bourne better than ever?
How do you follow up one of the most successful action trilogies of all time (while simultaneously ignoring the Bourne Legacy)?
Is Tommy Lee Jones the pinnacle of gruff CIA Directors?
What funky twists have they put on Moby's Extreme Ways?

55. Top 5 Distorted Reality Film
We're talking distorted reality films on the show this week. The movies that are seemingly set in the real world but seem to be just a little bit off for some reason.
Keeping with the theme, the world of the High Hat Film Podcast is also somewhat distorted with the arrival of a new co-host. Dan Lovley returns to the show to help Michael run down their top 5's.

54. Hall of Fame:- Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind (dir. Michel Gondry, 2004)
Hannah Dillis joins the show this week to talk about Michel Gondry's delightfully head-spinning, Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind. During the show Hannah and Michael talk about the film being a perfect realisation of Gondry's bizarre artistic vision, and discuss the serious side of Jim Carrey's career.
Also featuring regular features the High Hat Questionnaire, and the return of Attack of the Rotten Tomatoes, it's an unforgettable show (unless you've had an intrusive medical procedure to have the show removed from your memory).
