The Little Problem
Our story comes from Mark Shutes who was born in Flint, Michigan. Bro Shutes and his wife went over to the former Soviet Union in 1983. While they currently reside in the country of Latvia, which is right near Russia. Our story takes us to the beginning of their mission journeys to Belarus, otherwise known as White Russia. Here is where we hear the story titled “The Little Problem.”

The Negotiation
Mark Stumbo, who has worked as a missionary for the past 25 years in Russia. He and his family are originally from West Virginia and a part of the ALJC organization. The Stumbo’s spending 15 years in Russia have acquired their fair share of stories and this one called “The Negotiation” is one of their craziest!

The Painting
William Turner, a retired missionary of the United Pentecostal Church International was appointed to South Korea and the former Soviet Union during his time on missions. Both he and his wife are currently teaching part-time at Indiana Bible College, equipping the next generation of ministers. Our story take us back to the country of South Korea where we hear the account of, “The Painting.”
