The recent COVID-19 outbreak has brought about unprecedented times. Schools and businesses around the world have closed, and no one knows exactly what’s happening or what the future will bring. I certainly don’t pretend to have the answers, but I do know that panic and fear will do nothing to help the state of the world. With that in mind, I urge everyone to control what can be controlled, namely your strength and fitness.

There are different ways of exercise and how to perform and searching on internet you might come across many websites and blogs that really would give or share guidelines for that, but to start your exercise you actually don't need any guidelines cause too take care of your body it's as simple as walking. But to train your body professionally you need some guidelines.

There are basic guidelines for effective exercise, but there is a lot of flexibility in those guidelines. Anyone can learn enough about exercise to make their own exercise choices safely and effectively.

Do some cardio, use heavyweights to push, pull, squat, and hinge, and move as much as you can throughout each day. Choose a way to move and lift that you enjoy.

If you need more guidance in the form of a made-for-you program or a group class or trainer, at least take ownership of your movement within that program.

Choose the program based on your goals, and learn about the exercises so you can understand why you’re doing them.

If nothing else, take ownership of each movement as you do it. When it’s time to sprint, don’t think.

Choose to exercise:

Because it’s going to make you feel good (afterward, if not during)

Because it’s going to give you a sense of pride and achievement

Because it’s going to help you get a little fitter so you can have more energy to do the things you love

There’s never a good reason to abandon your quest to be healthy and strong. Thus, while many gyms have closed, you can always take it upon yourself to continue exercising wherever you are. One of the beauties of bodyweight exercise is that it can be done anywhere with little or nothing. Exercises such as bodyweight squats, pushups, and lunges can be done anywhere. You can also head outdoors to walk, jog, run, cycle, etc.

As I’ve said before, the specifics matter less than the effort put forth behind your actions. Now isn’t the time to seek out a complex fitness plan. Instead, it’s a time to keep things simple by continuing to sweat and move however you’d like.
