These are the words of J Cole in response to another rapper who said that your favorite rappers have catalogs about the plight of black people, but they not out here in these streets or raising their voices.
The internet went nuts after she made the statement, which prompted Cole to release that song. So what do you think? Do you believe that rappers need to be more vocal, or can they support the movement in silence? Mcdonald and I gonna chop it up about that, and what's up with cops caught on tape saying that they are going to kill ni**ers?

Juneteenth, Kyrie Irving, and Defund the Police
There's been a lot of talk last week about whether or not black people should celebrate Juneteenth. Some people think we should do away with it, and then there are those who think we should honor it. Mcdonald and I speak about both sides of the issue. You gotta listen to where we land on the topic. Also we spend time talking about Kyrie Irving and his plea for NBA players to sit out and not play in the upcoming NBA restart. Is it a distraction, or will it be beneficial to the movement. Last but definitely not least, a whole lot of folks have been chanting the phrase 'Defund the Police' at the various protests and marches. Some people don't really know what that truly means.

We Gotta Talk
Last week has been nuts! I mean with the aftermath of George Floyd's murder and the protests that are have been going on because of Ahmaud Arbery and Breonna Taylor, people are just fed up and they having it no more. Amazingly, with the advent of social media everybody has an opinion and feels like they have the best advice for Black America. Mcdonald and I talk about a particular video of an American white man calling out black people and telling us how we should lead. You don't want to miss this episode. Pay Us What You Owe Us
Back at it again with that dope content. A lot is happening in this world but nothing has changed. Black people are still disproportionately cut off from access to jobs, healthcare, loans, and education. The social experiment of blacks in America is not working. Not only were blacks enslaved, but we simultaneously built this country as well. Malice from the Clipse said,
"Like tryin to fly but they're clippin' your wings
And that's exactly why the caged bird sings
Who can nickname it, the shame rings true
Seems to me reparations are overdue."
