    THE PASSING (1983)

    THE PASSING (1983)

Dan and Bradley are joined by mr. William Mendoza of the most excellent and very great (and highly questionable) film podcast MEN ON FILM. Our film discussed for this episode is the exceptional and very under-viewed film THE PASSING from 1983. A good time is had by all on this episode even as we venture into some pretty dark territory.

THE FILM CAREER OF DIRECTOR WILLIAM GIRDLER

THE FILM CAREER OF DIRECTOR WILLIAM GIRDLER

Dan and Bradley welcome their good friend, writer and movie super-genius Mr. Paul G (aka Paul Grammatico) to discuss the short, prolific and impressive career and array of films from the young director William Girdler who before he died at the young age of 30 brought us Aslym of Satan (1971), Three on a Meathook (1972), Zebra Killers (1973), Abby (1974), Sheba, Baby (1974), Project: Kill (1975), Grizzly (1976), and The Day of the Animals (1977). Grizzly was one of the top 10 grossing pictures in the United States in 1976. His final film, The Manitou, was made in 1977 and released a few weeks after his death. (links to wiki).
This is another wild conversation, with lots of recommendations, so get your pen out and prepare yourself (warning, Bradley is slightly more unhinged than usual on this episode - it is likely due to the excitement of having Paul G on the episode).

THE GOLDEN GLOVE (2019) and COLD LIGHT OF DAY (1989)

originally aired as a Patreon Only Episode

Join Dan and Brad and their good friend Paul G to discuss a 'killer' double feature. Listen to us discuss the extremely brutal and depressing 1987 film COLD LIGHT OF DAY and the 2019 film (and equally depressing) THE GOLDEN GLOVE.
Complete with non-stop ramblings, confessions and highly questionable material, everything you have come to expect from The Movies from Hell podcast, but even more of it?!?!
we think these movies deserve more attention, especially COLD LIGHT OF DAY, which was also written about by our friend HEATHER DRAIN link to Arrow article
and here's a bit more about our ballsy and esteemed guest Paul G:
    Paul Grammatico
Screenwriter, Reviewer, Archivist, Occasional Podcast Guest and Humble Film Head. Killer Shorts Semifinalist, LACHFF, 13Horror and Int. Horror Hotel Winner.
