#117 After the Gig with Jesse Humphrey Feat. Greg Lato
This episode features singer/songwriter Greg Lato, who has transitioned from performing pop rock music to creating children's books and music. He discusses his recent publication of a children's book in 2022, his entrance into the world of children's music inspired by reading to his daughters, and his previous experience making music videos and pop rock songs. He shares insights into his creative process, including writing songs inspired by reading to his children and how he adapts to performing for kids. Additionally, Greg touches on the challenges of self-production and the importance of feedback in his artistic process. Aside from his musical career, we talk about his past life as a firefighter in the Navy, experiences that influenced his desire to incorporate military family stories into his next project, aiming to highlight the voices of military families through song. Enjoy!

#115 - “Talking Tunes”
Today on the podcast I talk about the music I’ve been listening to lately, and the ridiculous Ryan Adams discography over the last few years. There is a variety of music in this episode, so there is a good chance that things will be removed from YouTube, but hopefully stay up on the podcast platforms. Enjoy!

#113 Eric Hall - “How do dads have so much stuff?”
Today on the show I have my good buddy Eric Hall of the band Red Wanting Blue. Such a blast talking shop with Eric, and it got pretty silly at times. It was a little odd talking to Eric while not at 2am sitting in the cafeteria (beef trough) of the Rock Boat but we made due. Eric is one hell of a guy and I hope you enjoy this episode of After the Gig!

#112 Andrew Gravel - “The Gravel Project”
This week on the show I have my friend Andrew Gravel. Andrew is the backbone behind the Gravel project; a rock, and blues band based of of the Boston area. As you will be able to tell, this convo happened a little while ago, so there are some dates that aren’t relevant anymore, BUT the band has upcoming shows and you should check them out at https://www.thegravelproject.com. We get into the bands current plans for shows and music releases, as well as the Boston music scene and the importance of playing original music.
