This podcast is part of series following the work of student researchers awarded Summer Research Scholarships from the University of Auckland.
Isabella Wensley is starting her third year of a Bachelor of Arts and Law in 2020. Her project examines the intersection between Maungakiekie/One Tree Hill and the surrounding Cornwall Park area and the different meanings and uses that have been applied to this iconic green space throughout the twentieth century.
They have spent 12 weeks researching an aspect of Auckland’s history through the support of the Auckland History Initiative, under the co-supervision of Professor Linda Bryder and Dr. Jessica Parr.
