Berkreviews Movie Club features the hosts, Jonathan Berk and Corey Starr, watching movies that at least one of them has never seen (or at least not for a really long time). To make choosing a bit more fun, each month has a different theme in which the hosts take turns selecting the film. They then do a spoiler-free review before launching into the full spoilerific review. Sometimes there are guests or interviews...but usually it's just the scheduled movie.

Movie Brats - Dressed to Kill (1980)
Movie Brats, which includes Francis Coppola, George Lucas, Brian DePalma, John Milius, Martin Scorsese, and Steven Spielberg, is our series where we focus on the big gaps among these directors. These guys are considered to be some of the best directors of the last forty years and yet there were some major movies that Jonathan and Corey had not seen before.
As far as the podcast goes, each episode features an in-depth review of the movie for the week. They begin with a spoiler-free review before diving in completely after the needed spoiler warning. However, before getting into the review of the week, Jonathan and Corey discuss what other movies they've seen since the last episode as well as anything else they feel like discussing. Mint in Box - Being There (1979)
In between the series, Jonathan and Corey like to do a palate cleanser which will either be Mint in Box or Now Streaming. It's a one-off to give a break between jumping into another series. Corey was up to pick this time around and went with Being There (1979). She owned this on Criterion Bluray but hadn't watched it yet. Hence the "mint in box" of it all.

Jonathan and Corey decided it was time to expand where the films they watched this year were coming from. In the new series, Subs not Dubs, the podcast focuses on films that are not in English.
