Using the method indicated, an original drone sequence of around 20 minutes, created in Pure Data, was reduced to its current length, which also resulted in some abrupt changes to pitch or timbre, especially in the second half..
The track was created with VLC using random or untimed fast-forward intervals & recorded with Audacity +Soundflower.
An interesting exercise.
