Matt Rhule says the potential elimination of walk-ons would be an awful thing for college football…who disagrees?
-We talked with Yahoo Sports’ college football writer Ross Dellenger on the show on Friday, who gave us an update on what revenue sharing could look like in college sports and how roster sizes could be jeopardized
-Clemson’s Dabo Swinney voiced extreme displeasure for the concept, and Rhule followed it up on Sirius XM Radio, saying it could lead to teams loading up on juniors and seniors to have the best chance to get to the playoff, which could heavily affect high school recruiting and walk ons
-Is that something we’ve talked enough about? The actual effect of high school recruiting with roster limitations?

Troy Dannen provided an update on Memorial Stadium on Friday, which will NOT include demolishment of South Stadium
-Trev Alberts’ original plan with the $450 million renovation project included tearing down South Stadium after the 2024 season, but Dannen said that won’t be the case now—and they’ll be focusing on East and West stadium first, and not until after the 2025 season at the earliest
-For those who have been nervous about what the seat situation looks with renovation…you can calm down for a few years

He didn’t win the PGA Championship, but the legend of Scottie Scheffler grows after a Top 10 finish with a visit to jail on Friday
-Michael Malone not happy post-game after blowing a 20-point lead to lose the series to the Timberwolves 4-3
-We started the show off on Friday with the startling breaking news of Scottie Scheffler, the No. 1 golfer in the world, being taken to jail following a misunderstanding with a police officer helping with traffic after a crash led to a fatality and lots of issues with getting into the golf course
-Scheffler followed that up by shooting 4-under par on Friday; a poor Saturday took him out of contention but a wonderful Sunday put him in the Top 10 with all the stuff we he dealt with
- Also, Husker baseball doesn’t win the regular season B1G title but will settle for the 2-seed ahead of this week’s B1G Tournament in Omaha
