    Tonight, we discuss the current status of the civil rights movement.  We will discuss the real, tragic events of Fruitvale Station that happened in real life.  We looked at The Hate U Give and see how that movie portrays racial tension in society not just between cops and african-American communities but also between upper-class caucasian and low-class African-Americans.

Indestructible is about a man who is suffering from ALS, Ben Byer records himself throughout his final years of his life.  This movie hits home for one of our members.  The second movie is one of the opposite which most don't sympathize with as the man would sleep in grizzly country getting dangerously close to the bears.

    Casablanca and Saving Private Ryan

    Tonight, we look at two movies that depict war, specifically WWII.  Casablanca was a film that was created during WWII and is seen as a classic film from that era.  The film takes place in French Morocco not Madagascar as was said in the podcast.  The second is and probably will continue to be a classic which is Saving Private Ryan by Steven Spielberg.  This film depicts most of the true nature of soldiers in war.  It follows one squad as they look for a man name Private Ryan to return him home.

    Tonight we discuss two movies that show information that is normally hidden from the public.  In The Cove, we learn of a cover-up in Japan where all people are in it killing and selling dolphin meat as other types even though it is actually Dolphin meat.  The second movie hits home in the USA and Canada as we learn the lack of care for killer whales and trainers by Sea World and a former Canadian company called Sealand.
