Episode 1 - Interview with Shaun Morrison Pt. 1

Welcome to Family Cycles Episode 1.  So we’re starting this off with an interview with Shaun Morrison.  Shaun is fellow Navy servicemember who rode his bicycle over 5000 miles across the country from coast to coast with his friend Jeff.  We crossed paths with Shaun through some mutual friends and we couldn’t help but to ask for his time to share some of his adventure with us and to ask a TON of questions.  At first we thought this was just going to be one long conversation but we ended up breaking it down into three parts.  So with that, here’s part one of our interview with Shaun.

This is Family Cycles.  It's structured as a podcast – but in reality its just a host of recordings with really with one purpose, which is to capture our family’s transcontinental bicycle ride – from the very beginning of the planning stages through what we hope to be a fun and successful adventure across the country.  Not only is this to capture the ride itself, but the story of our recently connected family who include myself – Clay, my sister Ashley, and our half brother Kyle and biological dad Scott who we just met for the first time a few years ago. Low and behold, we had dreams of doing a transcontinental bicycle ride one day, well before we even knew each other, and now we get to experience it together as one family.  There was just no way we would do this without capturing it in some way.  So here you have it.  Sit back, relax, and enjoy the story.
