Fathering From Behind Bars
Today's episode is going to be a good one. We have a very special guest. I'm very excited to have this discussion with him on this topic:

"Fathering From Behind Bars."

Raymond is a Real Talk Youth Impact member, speaker, and volunteer as well as an award winning author for his book titled "The Chauffeur, From Federal Prison To Celebrity Chauffeur, A True Life Tale About Second Chances.“
Raymond Torres goes into a deep discussion about the pitfalls of getting a 20 year sentence and how his three children rode the bus from Las Vegas to visit him...In fact, here is quick blurb of him speaking.

"When you're involved in criminal activity, when you're involved in that type of lifestyle, in the back of your mind, you know, that sooner or later, there's a chance you could either get killed or incarcerated. And when you come into the federal system, those who know about the federal system, you know, they give out long sentences....

I always tell people, you're either going to betray the people that you're working with, in your criminal activity, or you're going to betray your family, because that's the choice you're going to have to come up with when you're facing 20 years. And I betrayed my family. And it was a very hard pill to swallow. Especially seeing my kids come to visit me at a young age, being in the visiting room, where my son wanted me to come home with them, knowing that I'm not coming home, him wanting to stay with me."
