Fighting to Feel Good | A New Mom's Guide to Inner Peace Loving Your Own Soul

    • Medicina alternativa

Stepping into the role of the mother brought Britt to the depths of her soul, guiding her through a spiritual journey of self-discovery like none other. Becoming a mom came with so many blissful and lifelong, memory-making moments in correlation with other darker and sometimes scarier thought-induced moments of reality too. As Britt has learned along the way, this change can bring up our shadows and sides of ourselves we don’t always like to be confronted with.

In today’s solo episode Britt openly shares about some of the not so pretty moments she encountered in her initial transition and what she did to bring herself back to more of her baseline, conscious self. It was important for Britt to share this piece of her journey so that other mom’s out there will feel less alone in their experience. For as Britt witnessed, the initial transition into motherhood can feel lonelier than one may realize.

As always, the intention behind this conversation is to inspire and guide you along a mindful exploration to living a more fluid life through a deeper connection to the soul.

“Stepping into motherhood and navigating the early postpartum waters of suddenly having another being directly dependent on me has been deeply beautiful AND equally challenging. I sit with both high stress and deep gratitude simultaneously, all of the time.”

This solo episode covers a variety of topics including:

·      Mom rage and the associated guilt
·      Moving through a dysregulated nervous system
·      Lessons of motherhood and life transitions
·      A 3-step process to feeling good with yourself as a new mom
·      Reasons to disconnect from social media
·      Cultivating an impactful meditation practice
·      Seeking one-on-one therapeutic support

“It’s okay for your journey to look different than that of others. It’s okay to normalize the not so shiny moments of this human experience. In fact, I encourage you to love and normalize all parts of you. And to always remember to celebrate how far you’ve come.”
