Well, this is just an idea of what will be discussed within our pod, and what our podcast will be about: EVERYTHING. We are a group of Gen Z'ers using our voices to spread peace, love, inclusivity, & drop GemZ, through our perspectives on a broad range of topics. While the 4 of us share some similarities, we are still different and hold our own opinions and views. Thus, making us the perfect representation of being able to disagree with each other, but coexist in beautiful harmony. We're all very different, which drives our belief that, every [kindhearted] person that comes in contact with our podcast, they'll be able to connect with and relate to at least 1 of us. Although the GemZ that we will be dropping will mainly be coming from the minds and hearts of Generation Z, we believe that this will be a place for everyone. Ice Spice has gained a tremendous amount of mainstream attention and success. But publicly, some people believe that she is only successful because of her skin tone. Someone random person on the internet sparked up the conversation, and from there, many people chimed in. The idea of Colorism in music came up in the online discussion. The artist Flo Milli came up as the comparison to Ice Spice, as some believe that Flo Milli should be where Ice Spice is, but because of colorism, she isn’t.
