With Neptune at the end of Pisces, it’s easy to feel psychically & emotionally overwhelmed, as we’re flooded by realistic stories from the collective unconscious. Many past events are being re-enacted on the planet at this time, offering creative choice to change the outcome to something more positive & coherent. This is why it’s so important for us to stop & reflect on the ‘why’ of each moment, rather than ploughing ahead with the ‘how & when’. During this unique time, we’re being showered with unlimited possibilities; let’s make choices that resonate with our soul’s purest resonant joy.   

Shamanism is an ancient & highly respected art, practiced throughout the world using one or more gifts such as healing, intuition & magic. Whether communicating with spirits, the body, totem animals or the natural world, all Shamans seek healing through transformation, freedom through acceptance of death & rebirth and ultimately, illumination of the soul. A shamanistic journey often involves drumming, relaxation & visual imagery, with the intention to retrieve parts of the self that are hidden or to release something that no longer serves the soul.  

At the start of May, let’s celebrate the Celtic fire ceremony of Beltane: a great time to fertilize & share ideas we’ve been nurturing for months. Symbolically, May Day is when Mother Earth’s creative dragon energy is enticed to rise up & become fertilized by the sun. On this day, bonfires & beacons may be lit & dances performed, perhaps around a maypole, to symbolize this sacred marriage. It is by offering songs & dances to reflect the land in which we live, that Nature will, in turn, rise up to honor our needs.  

During this busy astrological time, be ready for some uncertainty as secrets surface about people & institutions we believed were invincible (Scorpio full moon 23/24th April). But with such disillusionment comes the freedom to live & love our lives fully, inspired by the Jupiter/ Uranus meeting in Taurus on 20th. This meeting, linked to the start of Passover on the 22nd, encourages us to take a risk, leaving behind jobs, people, stories & beliefs that only give the illusion of security while keeping us enslaved & beholden to the whims of others. True security comes from within, as we step forward to embody the truth of who we are.

As we approach Earth Day on 22nd April, let’s remember the rich healing resources offered by Mother Nature, some of which are right beneath our feet. Studies show improvements in sleep, mental health, inflammatory problems, heart disease & much more when we take time in nature, rooting into Mother Earth & allowing her energies to heal us. We're being increasingly showered by galactic & solar winds: staying healthy on all levels, requires opening ourselves to Nature's healing energies.

Total solar eclipses are not rare, but this one in Aries on April 8th, is destined to activate energies both within ourselves & Mother Earth. With Chiron, the wounded healer & Mercury, the communicator, joining the Sun & Moon, it’s a great time to take back personal authority, start something new or communicate past hurts, so you can move forward with joy. Serpent energies are being activated within sacred sites, inside the ancient Arks & at the base chakra with kundalini activation. Together, healing & activation create a new world.
