People are now getting mad rich off of a dying business and we think it’s funny. The real meat of the episode though is our review of “Wonder Woman 84”. I think it’s safe to say that not many people liked this one, including us, and we discuss why it, and the DC Cinematic Universe by proxy have failed in crafting a compelling and plot hole free movie that fans can truly get behind.

On this episode of the Holy Nerdy Podcast, it is an understatement to say that the year 2020 has been complete garbage and we are so glad that 2021 is here to take it’s place. I was on a three week vacation and Caleb had Covid19, so this episode is about two weeks late. We begin with Caleb catching the dreaded “Rona” and talk about what that experience was like before ending the show gushing over one of the few gems of 2020, “The Mandalorian”. We discuss the final three episodes of the season and what the future might hold for season three, as well as our predictions and theories for what will happen to our little green friend.

On this episode of the Holy Nerdy Podcast, in a long and unedited episode format this week we come together to discuss that insanely massive bombshell news Disney just dropped in our laps just time time for Christmas. They released a list of all of the upcoming content in store for all of us for the next three years. From Star Wars, to Marvel, to Pixar and more, this list was indeed a beast to digest, but we tried our best. There was a few that was saw coming a mile away like the “Ahsoka” and “Fantastic 4”, and a few that came out of nowhere like “Rangers of the New Republic” and “Secret Invasion”. Seems like Disney has us all by the D+.

On this episode of the Holy Nerdy Podcast, it’s been over a month since the second season of  “The Mandalorian” premiered and while we were initially waiting to review season two as a whole, episode 5 came along and blew our collective minds and we couldn’t wait any longer to talk about it on the show. I think we can all agree that showrunners Jon Favreau and to a larger extent Dave Filoni are taking these Star Wars stories to the kind of heights that even the sequel trilogy could only dream of reaching. Plus with only three episode remaining before the season finale, who knows where these visionaries will take us to next.

On this episode of the Holy Nerdy Podcast, Jeff and I care convinced Caleb’s recent ongoing illness is really “The Rona” in disguise as we urge have get his nose violated just to make sure. We still have some unfinished Halloween business that we needed to take care of before we can move on to Thanksgiving. On our last episode, we decided to review what the internet says is one of the scariest movies to have been made recently. That movie is  called “Hereditary” and spoiler alert, it’s not scary at all. Seems like people nowadays get “scary” and “creepy/weird“ confused a lot, and boy howdy this movie has “weird” written all over it.
