    HotS welcomes Scott Schrimer

    HotS welcomes Scott Schrimer

House of Tortured Souls is proud to welcome on of my personal favorite independent horror directors Scott Schrimer. If you don't recognize the name, Scott is one half of the creative force behind Bandit Motion Pictures. With Bandit he has directed the horror Sci fi film Harvest Lake and the brutal Plankface. He was also producer and co-writer of the just released Sci Fi comedy Space Babes From Outer Space, directed by long time co-conspirator Brian K Williams, the other half of Bandit Motion Pictures. However Scott may be best known for his Festival favorite horror film, the disturbing and brilliant Found.

Listen in as hosts John and Dixie talk about Found, Harvest Lake, Plankface, Space Babes and the future of Bandit Motion Pictures. Also they touch on the horrors of distribution, the insanity of birds and just goofiness at times.

    HoTS welcomes Robert Lasardo

    HoTS welcomes Robert Lasardo

This week the House of Tortured souls welcomes actor Robert Lasardo to the podcast.

Robert will talk about his latest films Anarchy Parlor and working with Tom Sixx on The Human Centipede 3. He will also discuss some upcoming projects.
The gang talks with Robert about the constraints of working in Hollywood, or anywhere with tattoos and how as far as it has come, tattoo culture is still far from accepted.

We also talk about the current trends of fluff and empty entertainment, or is it really a "current trend". The convo gets a little deep.

But we also spend time talking about the King, the late Elvis Presley (wasn.t expecting that, were you?).

It's a bit of a long interview, clocking in just over an hour, so there isn't a lot of mindless banter to book end the interview. Count yourself lucky this time!

HoTS Live with the cast of the Night Watchmen

Dixie and John welcome the cast and crew from the new horror comedy The Night Watchmen. Scheduled guests Dan Deluca and Ken Arnold rope a couple of other guests from the film to join them on a wile HoTS conversation.

Along with that, the usual ramble and rumble as Dixie and John talk about American Horror Story Roanoke, The Exorcist, and bid a sad farewell to legendary singer/songwriter Leonard Cohen.
Plus a sneaky preview of possible upcoming guests.
