We started this journey with you all in July and wanted to reiterate some of our thoughts concerning this podcast as we bring the season to a close. We appreciate all those who rocked with us over the course of the season. Thank You! In time, we'll be back better than ever!

Any first-generation American can relate to the differences in growing up from a typical American home. From the food to the culture, being the child of immigrants provides its own unique experience, and in this episode we discuss what it was like growing up African in America.

Colorism: it's an issue that has plagued black people worldwide for quite sometime. In this episode, we sit down with three young women-Nife Akingbe, Toyo Akinrinade, and Keon Gray-to discuss some of their experiences with colorism, the role of the media in perpetuating its negativity, and also their desires to hopefully reach a resolution. 

Relationships seem to have gotten more complex in today's time, but have they really? In this episode, we sat down with the lovely @ron.ke to discuss the different dynamics of what makes a relationship successful: love, loyalty, sex, and everything in between.
