Biography of Shri Baba Jumdevji

भारत के इतिहास में ऐसे कई महान संत हो गए जिन्होंने समाज के लिए कुछ ऐसा अनोखा कार्य किया जिसके कारण उनका नाम आज भी बड़े आदर पूर्वक लिया जाता है. आज हम आपको ऐसे महान त्यागी श्री बाबा जुमदेवजी की जीवन कहानी बताने वाले हैं जिनके अतुलनीय लोक कल्याण कार्यों के कारण हर समाज के लोग उन्हें अपना आदर्श मानते हैं. 

Shri Baba Jumdevji

श्री बाबा जुमदेवजी का जन्म 3 अप्रैल 1921 को नागपुर जिले के गोलीबार चौक नामक एरिया में एक गरीब परिवार में हुआ था.

इनका असली नाम श्री जुमनजी तुबरीकर था.

इनके पिताजी का नाम श्री विठोबा तुबरीकर और माता जी का नाम श्रीमती सरस्वती बाई तुबरीकर था.

कोष्टि समाज में पैदा होने के कारण इनके पिता का खानदानी व्यवसाय बुनकर था और माता एक गृहिणी थी.

 अपने परिवार के पांच भाइयों में वह चौथे नंबर के थे इनके तीन बड़े भाइयों का नाम बालकृष्ण, नारायण , जागोबा और छोटे भाई का नाम मारुति था.

उन दिनों बाबा के घर की परिस्थिति बहुत गरीबी की होने के कारण वह अपनी शालेय शिक्षा सिर्फ चौथी तक ही पूरी कर पाए.

बाबा बचपन से ही हनुमान भक्त होने के कारण उन्हें पहलवानी का शौक था, वह रोजाना घर के पास बने एक अखाड़े में कसरत करने जाया करते थे. जिसके कारण बाबा मन के साथ–साथ शरीर के भी उतने ही मजबूत थे.

 इनका विवाह वाराणसी बाई  से साल 1938 में हुआ था, जब बाबा मात्र 17 साल के थे.

इसके बाद शुरुआती दिनों में बाबा ने अपना खानदानी व्यवसाय बुनकर छोड़कर सेठ केजरीवाल गोल्ड फर्म में नौकरी की थी.

बाबा ने पूरे समाज के सामने परमात्मा एक है कि संकल्पना रखी.
