Fred Hampton was the Chairman of the Illinois Chapter of the Black Panther Party. He joined the party at only 19, and very quickly began leading and organizing people to work together. Through collective action, Hampton and the Black Panthers were able to feed local children in Chicago for free and provide other community programs while cooperating with other racial groups in the fight for working class liberation in America. This incredible man and his untimely death are documented in The Murder of Fred Hampton (1971) and in Judas and the Black Messiah (2021).

Some might say that it is "easier" to treat people negatively and "harder" to set aside our pride and treat others with kindness. I argue the opposite, that it is much easier to treat people with kindness than to hate on them.
