However, even today a lot of people are in the dark on this topic and even may push back due to personal preferences and ignorance. The idea of being with a partner from a different racial background can be many things:

- It can allow you to enter into uncomfortable surroundings and conversations.
- It can be a vehicle to end generational curses.
- It can highlight subconscious prejudices you were not aware you had.

Remember when people use to tell you stay a kid as long as possible? You may have just have thought whoever told you that didn't remember being a kid sucked sometimes.
