Episode 6: Be the Song
I finally understand why the caged bird sings
It’s redemption song rings
Sweet tunes for all to hear
Gathering the chosen ones from far and near
Born into the wild
Trapped and released after years
It’s new here
What once was
is not
there are rules here
Breakfast is at 7 and supper at 6
The world you create in your mind
is the only reality that exist
It’s your escape back into the life you once knew
where you spread your wings and
wind lifted you
The sun bathed you with all it’s glory
The clouds baptized your muddied journey
The moon read your favorite night time stories
None but ourselves can free our mind
Redemption is the journey of where the soul and the body collide
Surrender to the inner-standing of the universe
Its given you the songs
Do more than sing
Listen and be the verse
Escape back to where you belong
You are chosen
Dont stutter
Sing and be the song -

Episode 3: Gratitude is a MUST!
The title of the opening poem is CrossRoads. When I wrote that poem it was like a restart for me creatively expressing myself through poem. I hadn’t written a poem in years when i wrote crossroads. This episode is going to be all about gratitude because I’m grateful for the inspiration that was behind me writing crossroads and that inspiration has everything to do with you listening to my voice now.
