Land of Ancient Firsts Matthew Pope

The sermon delivered at Mount Hope Church in Salisbury, North Carolina, on May 2, 2021, this episode features a duplication of this Luke 24:1-8 passage and content in full, titled: And they Remembered His Words. Discussing the notion of remembering all that Christ has said, have we forgotten His Word? Have we managed to miss the very things He has told us from all of those times walking with Him and living life with Him as disciples and apostles? Indeed, in the ministry of His Gospels, those who did receive Him and the prophecies He spoke of Himself, also neglected to properly retain, and so became reminded at the Tomb, in the Scriptures, and elsewhere. This is our charge: remember and keep Christ Jesus' words, for others shall keep ours on this earth. Others shall remember what we said, and our testimony is not enough. The Incarnate Word, The Logos, He it is Whom we shall recite with faith and boldly confess, remembering every jot and tittle that Our Lord had said by The Spirit and truth of His Being. Let us not grow forgetful when the hour arises for us to be a Church, a Body of Christ, and an individual believer toward the promises and the hopes that The Savior God has rightly revealed. 

A re-creation of the sermon preached by Matthew Pope at his home church, Mount Hope Church, in Salisbury, North Carolina, this second part to the Luke 12 passage is concerned with finishing out the road of faith to The Kingdom of Heaven. It is God's good pleasure to hand over this Kingdom as an eternal gift for the reward of righteous faith. If we are found to be full of this stature of faithfulness, we will be welcomed into the Holy Kingdom of God, as servants, as Christians called by name, as men and women of God changed by their Lord and Master. Hoping to evoke The Word of God by examination, Author and Writer Matthew Pope reads each Bible passage that is footnoted in this first novel of his. God's Word be honored in the works of Matthew, and may this subject prevail in underscoring the importance and power of knowing, reading, and understanding The Holy Scriptures. 

The final episode for the narrating voice of Author and Writer Matthew Pope, for his first novel: War with The Remnant: Translated Literature. This story has provided the tale of God's forces as they combat the wicked of our day. In this installment, the deploying measures of those sea-bound are explained and depicted, as our main character, Benedict, prepares for the open ocean. The details are being solidified as evil is approaching, and now the armies of The Lord are taking aim. The inspiration, found in The Scriptures, lends to us the courage and fortitude of standing against our enemies. We confront them in truth, we defend in justice, and we rally around with The Spirit of The Most High, attesting to Jesus Christ, Our Highest Commander. May this inaugural concept of reading through the War with The Remnant Series bring light and boldness to The Church of Christianity.
