Akrog16 ,

Thank you Tom

I know that there’s a plethora of comments, feedback, etc., so it’s a difficult thing to expect for all of the comments to find their way to you, but I hope this one does.
I have two role models, my mom, who has been my rock and she was a dual threat parent, as she raised my brother and myself on her own. My other role model is you.
I’d like to share something with you. I’ve never seen you in person, live in a stadium or at a meet and greet, yet I have always felt a mentorship from you. Let me explain… I’m 38 years old and I struggled with addiction for the better part of my adulthood. I watched two super bowls behind bars and I make no excuses, it’s where I should have been watching. The second Super Bowl was against Atlanta, and in a way, the comeback was reminiscent of my story, as I used it to fuel myself to where my life is today. Unfortunately, as a convicted felon in New England, a degree in teaching doesn’t get you a job. I stand with that law but I firmly believe that people deserve second chances, especially if they have proved they can overcome previous obstacles. In my own way, I compare that to you being a sixth round pick. This may not make sense to most, but it does to me. I ended up moving to Europe, and have since opened my own school, where I am teaching and passing on the knowledge of my experiences.
I attribute my success to my mom, and to you.
I tried so hard to get tickets in Munich, and I even flew there just in case I could find a ticket, but it didn’t happen. I wanted to see you play, but I hope to one day shake your hand and say “thank you”.
I still have a bit of hope that the right situation arises and you step back out on the field, but that’s my personal greed speaking, as you have done everything for the game of football and have impacted “nobody’s” like me for more than 20 years.
Being a golfer myself, I hope to run into you on the links.
Thank you for everything

Let’s Go Podcast

Phenomenal content!! Loved the back and forth between Tom Brady and Oprah Winfrey especially. And Jim Gray is sensational at asking the guests pertinent questions relative to the problems we all face on a day-to-day basis. Tom Brady Let’s it Go as he speaks on his plans to help people grow mentally/physically even well after he’s done playing. He also elaborates on why he plans on playing longer and the joy he finds in helping teammates achieve their goals. I’ve been a huge fan of Tom Brady since the first time I watched him at Wembley in London. Me and my family listen to this podcast every Monday, it’s so refreshing, insightful and inspiring. I’m thankful.
