I am always a little bit scared to get super vulnerable on social media, especially about my plights with motherhood. However, every time I do, I get such amazing and validating feedback from my followers. I was thrilled to learn that Michelle Kennedy created a larger platform for these meaningful motherhood conversations. In 2017, she launched Peanut, a “dating app” just for moms! This app connects women throughout the US and UK. (They have over 1 MILLION USERS!) It provides a safe space for conversation about tough experiences and an opportunity to meet/become friends with other moms. I think this entire concept is SO GENIUS. It can be hard to make friends as an adult and especially hard to make fellow “mom friends.” During this episode, we discuss the journey of the app’s creation as well as how important it is to not be afraid to discuss heavy issues…you never know who you might impact.
