My Favorite Murder is a true crime comedy podcast hosted by Karen Kilgariff and Georgia Hardstark. Each week, Karen and Georgia share compelling true crimes and hometown stories from friends and listeners.
Since MFM launched in January of 2016, Karen and Georgia have shared their lifelong interest in true crime and have covered stories of infamous serial killers like the Night Stalker, mysterious cold cases, captivating cults, incredible survivor stories and important events from history like the Tulsa race massacre of 1921.

The best podcast
Karen and Georgia are two hilarious and quick witted friends who tell true crime stories. After just only a few episodes you feel like they’re your friends and that you’re sitting right there with them. They choose interesting stories and this podcast is DEFINITELY worth listening too! I look forward to it every week!
A prime example of who you know not what you know
I started listening since episode 5 it used to be entertaining but slowly go very annoying. The hosts love to talk a lot, mostly about themselves and not really about the cases. Ever since they got a network things have plummeted down hill. Exposing how uneducated one host is and how desperate for any type of validation the other is. I feel frustrated for their staff who do such a great job only for the hosts to not bother to learn a pronunciation. Better to find another show with an up and coming podcast, not this. Clearly they have connections that got them this big and helped them sell out.
The highlight of my week
I look forward to MFM every week because it feels like having two hilarious, witty, empathetic best friends distracting you from the daily grind. It’s got me through some tough days and helped so much in lonely times. I love the banter as much as the stories, and recognise how much work goes into making something that may seem more casual than people realise! Can’t wait to get to my first live show!
