We are hosting the participants of NCSM’s Fellows Program: Fellow John Fischer, K-12 Math Facilitator for Greeley-Evans School District 6, Fellow Dr. Johnny Stitts, Secondary Math Specialist Jonesboro Public Schools, Fellow Nancy Smith Math Specialist in Compton Unified School District, and Mentor Dr. John Staley, Coordinator for Baltimore County Public Schools and Past President of NCSM. We also welcome Judy Dunmire, NCSM Inspiration Editor, Director of Instructional Support for the Integrated State Partnership Team at Instruction Partners, and President Arkansas Association of Math Leaders, who works with Dr. Buck to support this pilot of the mentor program. They will share how the program came about, why they have chosen to participate, what they have already experienced and what they hope to get out of the program. We hope this is an amazing program for those in the first cohort, but we are learning through this experience and hope to support more mentoring opportunities in the future!
