Hello, how are you?
This year has brought some of the biggest tears, we have lost so many greats, legends. I’m broken over the passing of John Prine, Justin Townes Earle, Jerry Jeff Walker, now Billy Joe Shaver. I’m worried what this year has left in store. I wrote this song last week, then two days later got the word on the passing of Jerry Jeff. Then yesterday the news of Billy Joe. This year has been brutal, and I just want you to know that I’m thankful that you are still here, my friends. Let’s toast. This song is dedicated to all of you and to the memory of the Saints of 2020.
