Oloture: A conversation about Human Trafficking and Decriminalizing Prostitution Gene Out The Bottle

    • Diarios personales

On this episode Yoko, Ibitein and I react to Oloture, a movie about a journalist who went undercover as a prostitute with the goal to expose Human Trafficking.

In this story we get some insights on the average lives of Nigerian female prostitutes and the dangers they’re exposed to and why they choose to migrate to Europe illegally with all the risks involved.

We discussed the movie and made our case for decriminalizing prostitution as a means to reduce and potentially eradicate human trafficking.

Side note: the internet tried to sabotage my audio. The network wasn’t great when we recorded so bare with the little overlap in the audio. I think you’ll get the gist though. Enjoy 💋
