Our Hayao Miyazaki's 'How Do You Live' Impressions | B.S. Film Club The Broadly Specific Podcast

    • Cine y TV

Before you asked, yes we know the official English title is 'The Boy and the Heron'.

This is a VERY special episode of B.S. Film Club because we just watched Studio Ghibli/Hayao Miyazaki's first film in 10 years and presumably his last film as well, 'How Do You Live?'. This film is also unique because it does not have ANY trailer, still or promotional material. The only thing that has been released to the public is the main poster of the film. There is a lot of curiosity and enthusiasm for the film, and it was just released today in Japan. If you are a Ghibli fan or if you are curious, listen to our impressions in this podcast! We divided the podcast into three parts:

Part 1: Our impressions WITHOUT talking about any premise, synopsis or plot of the film. If you are just curious about what we think but want to stay blind like how the marketing intended, then this is for you.Part 2: We start discussing the basic premise and synopsis but we won't tell you any big spoilers or reveal of the film. This is how it usually goes for non-spoiler content. If you are more curious about the film then this is the part for you.

Part 3: Full spoilers discussion. Watch this part after you watch the film one day.
