Just as promised, we're giving our opinions on the much awaited Wonder Woman sequel. Did it hold up to the original and did it to justice to the iconic characters including Wonder Woman, Cheetah and Max Lord. S1 E3- The Prom
Ryan Murphy, best known for his work on American Horror Story and Glee, took his own approach to bring this hit broadway musical to the big screen. With a jam packed cast that included Meryl Streep and Nicole Kidman, along with newcomers like Jo Ellen Pellman, The Prom had a lot of buzz leading up to its premiere. But it also faced casting issuing including James Corden's casting and portrayal of Barry. Was The Prim able to overcome backlash, and did it do justice to the broadway show? This is our take on The Prom.

S1 E2- Soul!
After Pete Docter's big Oscar win in 2015 with Inside Out, he wasted no time working on his next Pixar film. This time centered around middle school band teacher Joe Gardner. An aspiring musician finally gets his big break but with one misstep winds up in the Great Beyond. He goes through a journey with soul 22, while going learning that life isn't what he thought it was. Along the the way he learns a bigger lesson about himself and the environment around him, allowing him to cherish every moment and have a different outlook on life. Docter was once again able to create a protagonists we could root for and allow us to understand his struggles, while enjoying the storyline. This is Disney Pixar's Soul.

Wonder Woman
Welcome to the very first episode of popcorn chat where Julianna and I revisit the first wonder woman movie in honor of the sequel, Wonder Woman 1984. As Patty Jenkins first big film, there was a lot of pressure surrounding this film, Not to mention being able to uphold the nostalgia of the Wonder Woman comics. Here we touch base on the good and the bad in Gal Gadot's big screen debut and the impact of female empowerment.
