The Ground Level gang are back! for the last four years, we’ve been busy out in the field, doing everything from becoming parents, to emigrating across the world, starting new business and trying to grow up in life. We thought the need for our brand of commentary was long past and that you, our dear listeners, had also moved on.

But then came the year 2020

It has been a dark and difficult time for nearly everyone on planet earth. Beginning with a rampaging pandemic and followed by a series of social protests, environmental disasters, political disgrace and leading ultimately to economic downturn. What did we, the people of earth do to deserve this? Did we really bring it on ourselves?

With our society needing perspective like never before, it's time for us to come in from the cold and once again put our heads together - to analyse, dissect, discuss and find solutions for the everyday person.

This is the Ground Level 2020 retrospective!

"Video Killed the Radio Star". Most of us know the tune, but has that fate now befallen the music video, thanks to the internet? Is music television still relevant in our internet based world. More specifically what happened to Music TV Programming - Top of the Pops, The Word, The Chart show? Is Jules Holland the last man standing?

Well that was a long break wasn't it? So long in fact that we are just gonna say that this is now Season 03! So if you are still with us... Thanks! Now, let's get on with the show.

It's been so long since we were on air that we decided to kick off season 03 with no main topic. Just a square table discussion between your hosts, considering the things which are on our minds (and have been since our last broadcast).

We've all been watching a lot of TV, but Imran has starting reading books! No less that Game of Thrones. which is quite a daunting task now that we are nearing the end of the TV series. Will he make it to the end? Will the author make it to end? Will anyone want to?

Tee-J has also been reading: Comics! What the hell is going on in the DC Universe? What's all this Rebirth stuff about? With a little help from Denis-Jose, we attempt to explain.

Dan, ever the TV watcher, has a few things to say about the current batch of Marvel TV shows as well as the MCU. The last year has brought us DareDevil, Jessica Jones & Luke Cage. Can Marvel maintain the level?

Do you watch the alternate endings on DVDs? When will Hollywood stop with the Remakes? Has there ever been a re-invention that's gone down well universally? What do you do when you are watching (or reading) something on public transport which is not family friendly and people are looking over you shoulder. All these questions and more on this episode of The Liberation Frequency.

What have your experiences in online shopping been like? Good? Bad? What happens when things don't arrive, or need to be returned? what if you need to complain? Who do you call? Can you even call anyone at all?

And what about the rest of life? Sometimes you just need to talk to someone. But what if you don't have anyone? As we get older, these things become more and more relevant, both for ourselves and our elderly loved ones.

The more we march towards an online future and the world of social media, the more it seems we connect less with each other. even though we are connecting more. That doesn't make any sense does it? Don't worry - we'll untangle it for you! It's another Ground Level y'all!
