The Rams have kicked off their offseason program as of today, and the 2024 NFL Draft is just 10 days away! We looked at two specific factors when finalizing our 2024 draft selections: the direct message we received from Rams COO Kevin Demoff, and the recent comments from Vice President Tony Pastoors on how to re-build his defensive line. Instead of building it "from the inside out" with Aaron Donald, we think the Rams will have a committee of pass rushers (both interior defensive lineman and EDGE rushers) for this upcoming season who can all contribute in different ways. EVEN if the Rams prioritize offense at the top of the draft!

The Rams have traded up to #7 in our latest mock draft, thanks to a direct message received by someone pretty close to the organization. By no means is this definitive, but certainly sparks the idea of what it could mean and how much it would cost for the Rams to make the jump from 19th overall to 7th overall. After taking a player we loved (and many others love) at 7th, we dug deep and tried to find the 3 best players that we could get our hands on between rounds 2-5. The 2024 Draft is just 2 weeks away!

The Rams are in the process of getting through league meetings and are starting to get ready for the NFL Draft, which is now only one month away. We went through a specific mock scenario that didn't allow any trades and featured 11 players that we feel would be (for the majority) immediately impactful for the Rams in 2024.

The Rams are now looking at life without Aaron Donald. They've signed a few great players to add to their secondary in Darious Williams and Kam "the Ram" Curl and they're hosting Tre'Davious White (former all-pro CB for the Bills) as of yesterday. They're doing some great things to add some recognizable stars to the back-end of their defense, but their front-7 is still going to be a concern heading into the season IF they do not properly address the EDGE position. We looked at the full 2024 UFA class, their implications to the salary cap, and what to expect next from Les Snead, Sean McVay and the Rams.

The greatest defensive player of all-time has decided to retire after 10 seasons. In this episode, we pay tribute to Aaron Donald, who played 10 incredible seasons in St. Louis and Los Angeles and won a Super Bowl with the Rams back in 2021. He’s an incredible player - perhaps the very best we’ve ever seen and ever will see, so we decided to properly pay him his respect throughout this episode. From there, we look to see how it impacted the cap for 2024 (and beyond) and how the Rams will re-shift their focus in the upcoming draft.

The Rams have been a bit more quiet over the last 48 or so hours, with the exception of signing Darious Williams to a 3-year deal, and tendering Michael Hoecht. Outside of that, the Rams have watched a handful of top-tier EDGE rushers sign massive deals, while they're sitting comfortably and are waiting for the market to continue shaking out. There are still players available we have in mind: specifically, trading for Haason Reddick from Philadelphia, or signing Nick Scott to a relatively inexpensive 2-year deal to be a veteran presence on the backend.
