S2Bonus: RPDR S15 Episodes 9 & 10 Review (with Saareen‪)‬ NaskoChats

Hi loves! Welcome to a new bonus series of NaskoChats! I've always wanted to review my favorite TV show - RuPaul's Drag Race and here we are! I wanna thank my bestie, Saareen Junaid, for being my co-host for this bonus series. In this set of episodes, Saareen and I will review each new upcoming episode of Season 15 of RuPaul's Drag Race, discussing queens' performances, looks, and overall storyline of the show. In this episode, we catch up on some episodes because of our busy schedules. We review episodes 9 (The Crystal Ball: Episode 200 - all 27 runways looks by the 9 remaining queens, categories are "Start Your Engines," "My Favorite Ball," and "Crystallized Eleganza") and 10 (50/50's Most Gagworth Stars - our queens interview 3 amazing celebrities in a talk show and category is "Night of 1000 Beyoncés). Hope you enjoy it!

Additionally, I wanted to bring a spotlight on the bigoted and ludicrous bill passed in the state of Tennessee banning drag performances and making it illegal to cress-dress. As avid supporters and reviewers of all drag and Drag Race, this bill has affected many local performers and reflects on a ridiculous anti-drag sentiment rooted in bigotry and homophobia.

Read more about the bill in this NYTimes: https://www.nytimes.com/2023/03/05/us/tennessee-law-drag-shows.html

Here is an opinion piece that I also found informative and well-written: https://www.nytimes.com/2023/03/13/opinion/tennessee-anti-drag-laws.html

If you want to donate and help support drag performers, donate to the ACLU Drag Defense Fund: https://action.aclu.org/give/support-drag-defense-fund?cid=7013r000001reowAAA&initms_aff=nat&initms_chan=eml&utm_medium=eml&initms=230307_dragdefense_appeal_sb&utm_source=sb&utm_campaign=dragdefense&utm_content=230307_lgbtq_appeal&ms_aff=nat&ms_chan=eml&ms=230307_dragdefense_appeal_sb&redirect=dragdefense
