Best podcast
Carroll is probably one of the greatest minds and has the gift of communication, a very unlikely combo! So great this podcast
One of the Best Science Podcasts you Can Listen To
Sean not only has a superb taste for bringing very interesting guests and topics, but he also makes sure that the average listener gets to understand everything it is discussed. Absolutely recommended!
Highly recommended
I’ve been listening to this podcast for over a year (not on iTunes but another medium) and I’ve gone through about half of the episodes.
I’ve learned a great deal about many different subjects and I feel very satisfied. Sean has in general very good questions prepared for the speaker which make for an interesting podcast. His interactions with them are also great which makes this easy and fun to listen to. Outside of the informative value of the episodes, I think there is also the value of just listening to experienced people reason about things.
This podcast brought me exposure to many different concepts that probably I would not have encountered in my daily life. While many of the topics cover science there are also plenty of non scientific ones such as the episode on the death positive movement episode, which I found very interesting.
Sean also has credibility as a famous physicist which allows him to capture famous scientists or people and bring them over for the podcast more easily, so there is value in that in that not many podcasters have this “street cred”.
Above all, none of the episodes are too technical, which makes this podcast accessible to a wide audience. One complaint I would have is that Sean shamelessly plugs the many worlds interpretation too much haha
